Bryce Canyon National Park lies on the eroding edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, part of the Grand Staircase geologic formation that stretches across southern Utah and northern Arizona. Hoodoos, fins, and windows have been weathered into the multi-colored limestone creating a wonderland of amphitheaters for hikers to explore. Most of the park lies above 7,000 feet in elevation where it snows frequently during the long winters. The painting depicts a snowy scene near Wall Street on the Navajo Loop Trail in the month of March. ‰ÛÓ Bruce and Scott Sink
